The Lasagna’s were pretty much devoured minus some extra pieces left over for people to eat later but everyone loved how flavorful it was. Neither bland nor boring but not too spicy or over powering!

I had the utmost of confidence in putting our wedding catering into the competent hands of Salima. We spoke to a number of caterers before deciding on Marmalady. Salima was so obviously passionate about her food and so very organized with every detail that we knew immediately that she was the right choice. The food was delicious and the only disappointment we had was that our favorite dish, the pasta salad, was loved by everyone else at the reception and so there was not a bit leftover for us the next day! Thankfully, I had two heaping helpings myself. Thanks to Salima for her genuine smile throughout our reception and to her capable crew of helpers.

Everyday Catering with Marmalady
The lunch was a big hit! Everything was very delicious, we received positive comments from everyone. The pulled pork sandwiches disappeared quickly, the wraps & sandwiches all looked so amazing, I had the chicken spring roll wrap (so delicious), a couple of people by me had the falafel wraps and said they were really good. The pasta salad was terrific and exactly the right amount, only about a cup left over. The roti chips were so delicious, thank you for those! The desserts – every item received very yummy comments.

I found Marmalady Catering by chance on an internet search as I was looking for something a litle more interesting than “standard fare” for one of our lunch meetings. I was highly impressed by the quality of the food and the different choices that were available. Even though it was a typical boardroom style lunch, the sandwiches were very fresh, innovative, delicious and appealing. Everything was wonderful, right down to the Chai tea and the special touch of orchids on the baskets. I will definitely be using this caterer again.

Salima’s lunch service is fantastic. The food is delicious and not only does she deliver a niche need in Vancouver (who else delivers food to your office at a price you can afford with selection on hand, not pre-ordered?) but she does so in a professional manner. Salima listens to her customers and provides food they want to eat. As a vegetarian, I once commented on a limited selection but the next time she came, (and every time since) she has provided at least 2 if not 3 delicious and nutritious selections that are suitable for me based solely on that one conversation. I recommend her all the time and if she were to have a store front location, I would definitely go there.

The food is delicious and it couldn’t be more convenient! I don’t know of any others that come into offices to sell home-cooked lunches and snacks-a real competitive advantage. Oh, and the constant menu changes offers the right amount of variety, which is great.

A healthy alternative to the take-out options available around the office, I enjoy the variety and the freshness. It’s also great to have an option for lunch in the office that doesn’t need to be pre-arranged, if things get busy at work, at least I know I can get a healthy lunch to take back to me desk without having to phone and place an order for delivery or pick-up.

I love the fresh ingredients and the bread on the sandwiches for it’s fresh and chewy; the sandwiches are large enough to eat half one day and the other half the next! I love the convenience of just going downstairs to get lunch-it’s great! I miss the caramel brownies.
